It’s been a little bit gray and gloomy in London for the last few days, so I am especially loving this room that I came across on the ‘House of Turquoise‘ blog. I love the lightness and airiness of the room, as well as the eclectic mix of furnishings and accessories. The white-painted floors and the white-washed, distressed pieces of furniture (including the distressed blue picture frames) give the room a perfect balance between “beachy” and “country”. The hits of turquoise and pink are such a nice combination too, don’t you think? She has layered a lot of pieces and textures throughout the space and I think it comes together just perfectly. Hmmm.. dreaming of a Caribbean vacation right about now.

Love this room Gem! Gives me lots of inspiration- trying to make turquoise, other shades of blue and sort of cherry blossom light pink work in our livingroom. It goes to show they do work!
