Here we go with our first giveaway on the sweetest digs. Whoop Whoop!! Up for grabs is a hand-embroided coffee cup sleeve from ‘pillowhead‘ on etsy. Pillowhead is run by local Ottawa crafter, Angela, who sells a variety of hand-embroidered products in her shop. She strives for clean lines and modern design, with a soft touch. Her super popular coffee sleeves are not only good for the environment, they will jazz up a coffee cup any day. The sleeves are hand-embroidered on canvas and made with two layers of felt (made from recycled plastic bottles — cool, right?). The great part is that they are completely customizable — you can choose the colours and the saying (up to 6 letters) that tickle your fancy.

I love the imagination on this site. My 6 letters would be ‘kahveh’ in thread # 3846 (turquoise) on off-white with a brown outer felt. ‘kahveh’ is Turkish and the origin of the our word ‘coffee’.
