I haven’t ever used violet in any of my own spaces before, but I do love the richness, depth and pizzazz it came bring to a space. Actually, the colour does pop up in my wardrobe fairly regularly! I love a deep purple paired with white and grays and linens — it looks sophisticated and calming.

I am loving purple… the rug that I bought for my twins nursery has purple in it… Now I just have to wait and see if one of them comes out a girl and there will be more purple accents added to the room :)

I LOVE purple. My boyfriend laughs at me when we are shopping cos I gravitate towards anything purple or teal.

This might sound weird, but I think I go in colour phases based on what colour my bag of choice at the moment is… See, a year and a half ago, I bought a deep purple bag and fell in love with all things purple and violet for almost a year. I used the bag to shreds. (It was a cheap bag to begin with…)
Now, I have a new bag: yellow! A beautiful cornflower yellow. And guess what? Now I’m kinda loving yellow. Is that weird?
Either way, I still LOVE purple, especially that deep purple that can only be called violet. Great post! Love all the shots, especially that deep colour in the dining room and the bedspread of the last shot. Gorgeous!
I absolutely agree Jeanette! I’m not sure if I usually buy bags that match my current decor trends or the other way around… but I definitely notice from time to time that all of my recent projects and purchases seem to be in the same colour scheme!
