Back when I was around 8 years old, my grandmother (Audrey) bought me my first set of watercolour paints. She was a beautiful artist who had a special talent for painting flowers — she illustrated books, painted china, and did some gorgeous botanical series. Ever since that first set of mine, I have loved dedicating time to this hobby.
In 2012 I opened up an etsy shop to sell prints of my watercolours, some of my grandmothers watercolours, and graphic prints I have designed for my own home. Once I had my own daughter in 2013, my love of creating art for nurseries and kids rooms grew! This is now a big part of my shop. All of the pieces will add a bit of fun and whimsy to your artwork collection and make wonderful gifts! They are affordable at $15 for an 8.5×11 (I suggest framing them in a larger frame with a matte that has an 8×10 opening).
Check out the shop here for all the goodies. Thanks for your support of this small business!
And if you want to check out some of my other favourite etsy items, you can browse around my curated “etsy faves” collection here. I dare you not to fall in love with some of the handmade stuff… careful, you might not look up from the computer for a couple of hours!
