Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. We landed back in Canada 10 days ago and it has all been a bit of a blur. My Mum and I went into full force wedding-planning mode. I have bought a dress (and my Mum’s outfit), met with the officiant, ordered the flowers, viewed all the accommodation, met with the caterer, designed my ring and have gotten started on all of the little crafty projects I’ve got up my sleeve. It has been exhausting but oh-so-much fun. I have to admit, I’m totally in my element planning this wedding. I love all the little details.
Anyway as much as it’s been fun getting back home and seeing friends, family and our house (!!) again, I was really bummed to say goodbye to our London apartment and neighbourhood.
Dan in front of our London pad:
Going for one last stroll in the ‘hood…
Needless to say, we loved London. We had a totally fabulous year. Not only did we fall in love with the city and make some great friends, we also got to do tons of travelling — Italy, Spain, France, Morocco, and Ireland. That ease of travelling within Europe is definitely going to be missed!
Anyway, we’re so happy to be back in Canada and back to our sweet house (although it is not looking so sweet at the moment!). We have yet to unpack our things and make it feel like ours again. I have to admit, I already have a long list of projects on the “to do” list. Can’t wait to get rolling! Here’s how things are looking…
As you can see, lots and lots to do. Frankly, I should be off unpacking a box right now… catch ya back here soon!
