How to Make A Mason Jar Lid Snowman Ornament:
Step 1: Prep lids
Remove lids from rings and get all of your supplies ready.
Step 2: Cut + attach circles
Place lids on sheet music and trace around the lids. Cut circles from sheet music. Attach circles to lids using glue stick. Allow to dry completely.
Step 3: Paint rings
Meanwhile, if the jar rings are not white or silver, paint the rings white. While the paint is still wet, sprinkle with glitter (if desired). Allow to dry completely before proceeding.
Step 4: Draw face
Using the permanent markers, draw eyes, nose, and coal mouth on the sheet music lids.
Step 5: Glue
On the inside of the rings, place a ribbon of glue around the edge. Fit the lids into the rings and press in place. Allow to dry.
Step 6: Prep pipe cleaners
Twist a red and a green pipe cleaner together. Cut the combined chenille stem in half and shape into a U.
Step 7: Attach pipe cleaners
Glue one side of the chenille stem to each side of the jar ring.
Step 8: Add “Earmuffs”
Over the chenille stem on each side, glue a pom pom.
Allow ornament to dry completely before packaging or putting it on your Christmas tree.
