Happy Sunday!
We are officially off on summer vacation now in our household – we are taking the month of August off of work, preschool, etc. and have some fun plans! Maya is off to Kindergarten in September (*sob*), and James will be starting at preschool, so we really wanted to take the time to have some family adventures before then. I’ll still be posting this month on the blog, but perhaps a little less frequently.
In other news, does anyone else dress their kids the same way they decorate their home?
I’m clearly guilty of this…
That black and white throw is SO GOOD – it’s thick, has a great pattern, and those tassels. Oh the tassels. I recently snagged it from Target.
If you’re in Canada and don’t want to pay the shipping, this is the closest match I could find on Amazon.
Alright… it’s Sunday evening, so you know what that means – The Creative Gallery! If you’re new to The Creative Gallery, it’s an amazing weekly event where bloggers and readers can share their latest projects.

Here’s the latest from The Sweetest Digs this week:
I posted about these gorgeous vintage botanical prints that we have in our living room. They are so stunning!
And guess what? I’ve got the digital files over in the Vault for you to download for FREE. Sign up below to get your hands on them (plus all the other art printables in there!)

I also shared my Face Serum recipe over in a live stream on my facebook page. I’ll write up the recipe as a blog post soon, but head on over there if you want to see how I’ve been making my own face serum for the last year or so (and it’s been amazing for my skin!).
And now for some of my faves from last week’s Creative Gallery Link Up:
Kristy from Life-n-Reflection made this grapefruit poppy seed body scrub that I can’t wait to try! She uses Young Living essential oils like I do – and luckily I already have grapefruit oil in my cupboard and loooove the smell. Putting this on my to-make list!
Can you believe that these are peel and stick tiles? They look just like wood to me. Angela from Simply Beautiful shared a really detailed post here on how to install them. If you have any old flooring you want to cover up somewhere in your house, these would be an amazing budget-friendly option!
I’m obsessed with making little clay dishes (you can grab air dry clay off Amazon for these projects!). This pineapple version from Marlene from IdleHands Awake, posted on Delineate Your Dwelling, are SO cute.
Now let’s get to your projects!
