It's giveaway day! I was recently approached by Erin Wallace, who I actually went to high school with. She's an Ottawa gal who hand crafts really lovely, delicate jewelry. Here is a little something about Erin -- Erin is inspired by geometric shapes, sculptural forms, and delicate textures. Fascinated by the push and pull of opposites, she balances masculine and feminine ideals; industrial ... View the Post
the friday roundup: my top 10 pregnancy wardrobe must-have’s
For any of you to-be mama's out there, this one is for you. I am in no way a fashionista - today I am running around in a bad pair of jeans and sweatshirt (pretty common these days with bebe!) - but I do often like to put some effort in, and feel good about how I look. Maya Wray Clare Brodhead made her big appearance on Friday, August 9th at around 7pm, weighing 8 pounds and 2 ounces. She is healthy, curious, and so, so pretty - total perfection. Here it is in it's crazy turquoise glory, full of mis-matched leftover University furniture that we shoved in ... View the Post
project nursery: finishing details
Alright, we're in the last stretch of project nursery! Here are some of the little details - none of which really required a separate post - so I just sort of jammed them into one. After I had painted the room a crisp white and installed my Chasing Paper polka dot wallpaper (love!), I knew I wanted to do a little something with the window frame. It was just kind of getting lost in the sea of ... View the Post
